I'm also really excited - I just rewarded myself with a purchase of a compact Canon Powershot (12 mp!) camera. I've been looking for one that I can carry around in my purse and use for all of those unexpected moments of life - and hopefully capture some "masterpieces" in oil as time allows! I love my Canon EOS that I've had for a couple years now, but it is so bulky and valuable that I find I just leave it home more often than not. This new little one will go wherever I go!
